Not the organization as a whole IMO, merely Orpik sending a reminder that he has zero respect for his fellow man.

Torts is a jackoff. Seriously, he has whined more then anyone. First Thornton, Then Jersey coach, now the Pens Organization. I didn't hear Bylsma bitch a word when Rupp put Staal out for six weeks.
Again, if he was pissed, he had 4 minutes in a 3 goal game to settle it and he did nothing but cry about it afterwards.

Sometimes I think he is shooting from the hip, and doesn't think too much about the things flying out of that hole under his nose.

Torts is 100% right. Pittsburgh are Bettman's Butt Boys and if a knee on knee happened to one of their whiny stars, yes, it would be a major deal. Why can't people on this board respect Torts who has a team that is in line to win the President's Trophy AND leads the league in majors? Maybe it's the Boston attitude but shit, what do you want in a coach nowadays?

I think Torts is spot on about this. I think Pittsburgh is one of the most arrogant and dirty organizations in the league. Its a top down attitude with that team, starting with Mario.

Worst part is that Brad Richards was the only guy to go after Orpik.
That's a suspendable hit. Advantage Flyers.
I don't know why some people don't see how the Pens are favored by the NHL. From 5 straight years picking top 5, including 2 #1s and 2 #2s, to the halos given to their stars who play dirtier than most. It's absurd.

Orpik should get a game or two, it certainly wasn't intentional, seemed like a heat of the moment reaction when Stepan tried to cut around him. I'm just shocked none of the vaginas on the Rangers stepped up. And Torts crying? What else is new?

Yeah, the league just handed them picks....they didn't suck for years and years to accumulate them. Not enough eye rolls in the world for this comment.

Let's see:
01-02
Penguins had 69 points with 28 wins, placing them tied for 5th worst record in the league. They drafted 5th (Whitney).
02-03
2nd worst record, drafted 1st (Fleury).
03-04
Worst record, drafted 2nd (Malkin).
04-05
Repeat of last year, but drafted 1st, of course (Crosby), despite the rules giving them a lower chance of drafting first overall due to the MAF draft. Chicago should have had the first overall pick, and I believe Columbus had a higher chance of taking #1, but I don't recall exactly. This was rigged.
05-06
Finished 2nd to last, drafted #2 (Staal), probably the first time that the bottom five teams actually drafted in their respective positions.
Yes, they sucked, for a long time, by design, but the Crosby draft was rigged.
I also thinking tanking is completely unsportsmanlike, but they did it for years.

You'd think the Rangers had the fewest majors in the league this year with the shit that Torts takes on this site. How many fights did he set up this year with the last line change? He actively went out to sign Rupp. The guy has never liked a one dimensional fighter, and was apparently ahead of the curve in that regard. Laviolette is the same way. They've built teams with players that can play the game and fight. I'm just confused why they both get shit on for dressing two of the toughest line ups in the league.
As for the hit, I think it happening with 5 minutes left in 4-1 game is what pissed him off, besides the crying the Pens typically do.

Anyone that thinks the NHL rigged the Crosby lottery is a complete buffoon.
