The Toughest Set To Collect in the History of Hockey Card Collecting
Enforcers from In The Game will be the toughest set to collect in the history of hockey trading cards.
Just the thought of Schultz, McSorley, Twist, Brashear in action scares the heck out of me.
Fighting in hockey is as old and important as the blueline. It's the one event in a game that always brings the crowd to its feet and Enforcers will celebrate the blue-collar players who toil in the trenches and work to give the stars more skating room.
How many goals would Gretzky have without Semenko? Each box of Enforcers will feature 5 autograph cards, that's right 5 autograph cards of some very tough customers.
Also included in each box will be 2 game-used memorabilia cards. Featuring the following insert sets; Instigator, Combatants (Dual), Fight Strap (1/8) Fight Strap (1/1 - big surprise), Tough Franchise (Quad).
Each box of Enforcers also will contain 5 limited base cards. Subsets of the base card set include; Record Holders,Tale of the Tape, Bloody Battles and Tough Franchise.
That's right 12 cards per box. This product will be hand-packed by In The Game to insure that each box contains the exact number of cards noted above. There are no redemptions to wait for or substitutions to accept, just the toughest hockey card set ever.
This product will be limited and allocations to distributors will be based on pre-orders. Contact your distributor or your local card shop to let them know that you have dropped your gloves and will be collecting Enforcers by In The Game.
Coming early 2012. In The Game - The history of hockey on trading cards.

Sweet set. Has full autograph checklist been posted anywhere. I hope they get some guys that don't have any certified autos out yet. I think Ray only has a BAP auto from UD, so cool he is in it.

The gentleman that runs ITG, Dr. Brian Price, is all class. ITG is a small business. So I highly doubt he's trying to profit on the deaths of three enforcers. People write books, makes movies, etc. Life goes on. If anything, these cards will help fans remember those players.

People are ignorant to stuff some of the this stuff. I'm sure ITG started putting this set together well before Belak's death. So the assertion that they are using it to promote their cards is completely baseless. Plus, ITG sells out of pretty much everything they put out there. It's short-printed; and there is a demand. So regardless of these deaths, this set would have sold out FAST.

During the financial negotiations, he discussed with my staff member some of his fights.
He took our money and now for his own agenda, he is trying to reverse his position.

Peaty, we gotta talk about getting back my collection. I got a little Crowder now who'd like those. Name your price.

Can't wait for this set to come out. I heard auto checklist is 80 guys!!!! So we should be getting some that have never had cert sutos before. I'm hoping for guys like Caufield, Zemlak, Clackson, Cochrane, Behn Wilson, Rissling, Frawley, Coulis, Van Dorp. Should be some good ones in it. Anyone going to try and do the auto set?

We should see who's up for buying boxes on here, and then trade with each other like we were 10 years old :-)
I'm interested in getting a couple, though with my luck with hockey boxes, I'd get duds, or all the fighters I don't like :-)
It seems like they're $824.95 a case (14 boxes) If we can get 7 (2 boxes each) guys to chip in $117.85 each or something along those lines, we'd actually pay less per box than if we bought them individually. Just a thought.
Has there been a list made of who's in the set?

Damn, no Freadrich.
I was hoping he'd at least be in a memorable fights category or something.

Nice checklist. Was hoping for some more guys that don't have cert autos already. Still some good first timers.
I wonder what the deal is with Dave Brown. He still hasn't signed his card for Panini Tough Times card last year. Wonder if he turned ITG down or wants too much to sign for card companies.

I hope they got Dave Brown deal done. With cards in hand and signed for pack out. I went searching to see what his status was on his Panini tough times redemptions from last year. That have never been filled yet and found this info posted on sportscards message board from Panini...
We had issues coming to terms with Brown (also Robertson and Snepsts) so we had to replace them with threee different guys. Dave Semenko, Gord Donnelly and Bob McGill are the replacements-those cards are out with the players.
So if in fact In The Game and Price do get Brown autos in the product. This will be his first certified autograph card to hit the market. So I expect the first few of those that hit to fetch some decent coin before they settle down in price. I hope he isn't a short print.
