As someone said on Twitter...In death as he was in life: stiff

91 is the lucky number lately.

The guy was as influential as anyone in my lifetime.

Some of the Tweets going around right now about Hefner are laughable. It seems like every lipstick-lesbo with underarm hair all of a sudden bought a smartphone.

Bought my first Playboy in 1995. I forget what edition, but it had the pink background a hot redhead in a polka-dot red dress on the cover.

As the internet came along, and porn became free, I lost interest. But I always respected Hugh.

Rip.

You'd be hard pressed to find any modern day interview that was 1/10 as well done as Playboy
Dis somanumbatching country was founded so that the liberties of common patriotic citizens like me could not be taken away by a bunch of fargin iceholes... like yourselves.

I ran a few of those JU. I found a lot of that had to do with Hugh Hefner's genius. He probably demanded that's the interviewer get inside the id of every interviewee. Celebrities were rarely allowed to settle for movie promotion type of interview s***. They answered real questions.

The truth is that it was an excellent magazine. I had a subscription for about five years and always read it cover to cover.

My friends and I had about a fifty stack of Playboys stashed in the woods growing up. All the pages were stuck together for some reason.
