The 2nd DoJ OIG report is scheduled for release, hopefully tomorrow. This IG inquiry is specifically looking into whether the FBI investigation was corrupted by political influence in their determination of the Clinton outcome.

Here is a quick overview of what transpired nearly 2 years ago. I hope this results in her being investigated for real.

It is astounding for an AG to be this blatantly political.

Interestingly, double jeopardy doesn’t necessarily apply in dual sovereignty situations.

It is highly unlikely that D’Souza will be prosecuted by NY state because the statute of limitations likely ran.

Unbelievable.

Martin Short said something ironic. He said that people who support Trump will be as regretful as those who supported Joseph McCarthy.

The biggest reason people support Trump is because the left is today Joseph McCarthy. They have instituted a hideous culture of thought control and political interpretations for the rule of law. It ain't just a few people like in the McCarthy days leading the charge, but it's their entire group that has done this and continues to watch and possibly let it happen. At least Republicans put Joseph McCarthy in his place and called for his censure. Nobody on the left save maybe just a small tiny minority, credit to Bill Maher, are speaking out against their own for this kind of tyrannical behavior. They seem to be embracing it. Those of us intelligent enough to know better will never forget that. I'm not sure how much damage is being done now, but it's going to spill over to the next generation in my opinion.

Heard a local talk guy make the very unpopular point - McCarthy was 100% correct and justified.

The American government and Hollywood as the propaganda arm / cheerleaders .......... were absolutely riddled with communist agents from the USSR, and homegrown bastards who were with them 100%.

Without McCarthy's challenge or another, they would have led a pretty good secret offensive against America. Maybe enough to win and end the US.

McCarthy didn't even grasp the full extent of the problem. After the fall of the USSR, files were uncovered that showed there was a shitload more infiltration than he found, or suspected.

Hearing a garden variety moron mumble "McCarthyism" makes me laugh at their stupidity.

But it also makes me want to kick the fuck out of them for continuing the offensive, and propaganda, against America.

The bitchy little queef of "McCarthyism !" deserves a beatdown every time it's said. It's just more hate for America, constitution, capitalism, etc.

Just another example of today's left being completely unabashed in their final battle against the USA.

They have always been quietly aligned with USSR, China, Cuba, Vietnam, Venezuela, anybody who was in league against the American experiment. Everybody who ever hated capitalism, Christianity, caucasians, our constitution, USA conservatism. You could say "C5".

They were certain that the Clinton-Obama-Clinton offensive was on track to destroy all that. Dancing in the streets, having their party.

When Hillary fumbled it away, and gave it to Trump to tear it all down, as Newt says..... there was a mass psychosis that won't stop until we have a civil war, or hopefully legal proceedings that accomplish the same goal of shutting these assholes down.

Take a look at Valerie "Zira" Jarrett's lengthy communist family history. Her father, father-in-law, and maternal grandfather were all card carrying Communist party members and were all likely friends with Obama's mentor Frank Marshall Davis. Each of them firmly ensconced in the Chicago rabble rouser community.

It's on!

12 Noon brief by Rosenstein to President Trump. Then a 3 PM release to the general public. Supposedly as many as 500 pages in length.

I think we can expect a document 60% full of little black lines, courtesy of Rosenstein and Schiff.

It's up to Trump to declas and release the whole thing clean.

Then arrest those who did the redacting for fraud, misuse of power, RICO, etc.

This is the only reasonable path. If this thing is real.

Should dovetail nicely with forcing documents out of Rosenstein and Mueller. That should simply end those fucksticks.

It's amazing to see that Rosenstein is even more dirty than Comey and McCabe.

He's obviously the guy who did all the FISA fraud, and has run the overall coverup from day 1.

So now the guy is actually threatening to take underhanded action against anybody in congress, who might exercise their oversight / authority over DOJ.

Fucker should have been arrested a year ago. But I think Trump wants the legitimacy of the Horowitz report.

It's also true that Rosenstein's just begging for Trump to fire him so that all the Obama - Clinton people can scream "Obstruction ! Impeach !"

Interesting timing on a lawsuit filed today by the State of New York against Trump’s personal charity.

I’m sure it’s just a coincidence.

That and McCabe suing yesterday claiming various types of unfair treatment.

Mueller is now claiming that he shouldn't have to give his Russian indictments any evidence / discovery whatsoever, because "it will help their espionage against America".

How the hell did we get this far, where this kind of idiocy is not even shameful anymore ?

We have irrational, pissy little children in charge of much of America.

Who were told for 8 years that they will always own and run everything. And they can't understand that it's not true today.

I'm still on the fence with Rosenstein. There is a counter point for virtually every point you made above. So only time will tell.

If he's a white hat following a Trump script ...... he is a mighty fine actor.

He's portraying the corrupt little shit REALLY REALLY well.

If he's really on our side, he will be assisting in putting people in the gallows. He knows too much and was in on too much, for it to be much short of that.

wow, CNN, Bloomberg & WaPo desperately pumping out stories this morning that "prove" the report is nothing. They know this, and what's in it, somehow. Amazing.

If that's what comes from a year of digging, and 3 deadline extensions because of the unexpected evidence and whistle blowing, well, there never was an investigation to start with.

I'm still hopeful that it's not the case.

Well, let's get the obvious out of the way. Peter Strzok told his girlfriend that they would stop Trump from getting elected. LOL.

Not looking good. Recommendations at the end of the report are basically "meh, the FBI should really do this stuff a little differently, do some training, be less dumbass".

Kind of shocking for a 1-year-plus investigation, 3 deadline extensions for a shocking tsunami of whistleblowing, obvious felonies all over the damned place. Oh well.

Actually, some good stuff in this report.

One DOJ official sought Clinton campaign job for his son, then shared case info with Podesta.

The Strzok text claiming he would stop Trump from winning was never given to Congress.

Comey made to look like the self-agrandizing fool he is.

Other nuggets as well.

Trey Goudie offered a blistering press release that is worth the price of admission.

I am alarmed, angered, and deeply disappointed by the Inspector General’s finding of numerous failures by DOJ and FBI in investigating potential Espionage Act violations by former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

This report confirms investigative decisions made by the FBI during the pendency of this investigation were unprecedented and deviated from traditional investigative procedures in favor of a much more permissive and voluntary approach. This is not the way normal investigations are run.

The investigation was mishandled. The investigatory conclusions were reached before the end of the witness interviews. The July 5th press conference marked a serious violation of policy and process. And the letters to Congress in the fall of 2016 were both delayed in substance and unnecessary in form.

Moreover, the treatment afforded to former Secretary Clinton and other potential subjects and targets was starkly different from the FBI’s investigation into Trump campaign officials. Voluntariness and consent in the former were replaced with search warrants, subpoenas, and other compulsory processes in the latter. Many of the investigators and supervisors were the same in both investigations but the investigatory tactics were not.

Former Director Comey violated Department policy in several significant ways. The FBI’s actions and those of former Director Comey severely damaged the credibility of the investigation, the public’s ability to rely on the results of the investigation, and the very institutions he claims to revere.

The report also conclusively shows an alarming and destructive level of animus displayed by top officials at the FBI. Peter Strzok’s manifest bias trending toward animus casts a pall on this investigation. Bias is so pernicious and malignant as to both taint the process, the result, and the ability to have confidence in either.

The law enforcement community has no greater ally in Congress than me. But continued revelations of questionable decision making by FBI and DOJ leadership destroys confidence in the impartiality of the institutions I have long served, respected, and believed in.

This is not the FBI I know. This is not the FBI our country needs. This is not the FBI citizens and suspects alike deserve.

It is now urgently incumbent on Attorney General Sessions and Director Wray to take decisive action to restore Americans’ confidence in our justice system.

Gowdy’s release

-PR
