Have to respect how the Bruins refuse to whine to the league for suspensions. I actually thought they had a case with the Sestito hit on Horton. That hit seemed to be a text book blind side head shot.... But they really didn't push the issue.
That said, Thornton should have addressed Carkner last night. Carkner wasn't landing much, but he was obviously trying to rough up guys like Krecji.

Thornton has at least 4 games coming up against Carkner, to finally convince that FORMER fighter to drop them!

Let's keep this in perspective, Tornton isn't calling anyone whiners....he's saying that the Bruins don't whine. I've always had the utmost respect for Thornton since his Norfolk days.

When was Tocchet a crybaby?
First I have a ton of respect for Tocchet, but I remember the two full years in Pitt him crying to refs every chance he got. I can't name the exact incident but I remember complaining to the people I had my season tickets with that Mario had even turned Tocchet into a whiner.
I really believe it's become the Pens culture since Lemieux became captain there. It's not as bad as when Mario was playing but they whine a lot.

"That's clearly a cheap shot, clearly a guy targeting a player," Bylsma said.

Can I make clips of him bitching at the officials in a Flyers Uni? He was yelling at the refs after the incidnt where he fought Stevens and Hunter. Guys barking at the officials happen everywhere, not just Pittsburgh.

I believe he said that in reference to Violet's comments, no? If Peter L didn't say anything I am 100% sure he wouldn't have said anything. Bylsma usually lets thing settle on the ice. He stuck up for Nystrom when he hit Letang, didn't say a word when Rupp kneed Staal. Last Sunday he had a problem with what the Flyers did and settled it on the ice. Wish more coaches did that.

Bylsma is great. I have always had great respect for him since his IHL (playing) days.

Sounds like this was directed at Torts and Lavy for their post game blow ups.

Isn't that Bruins coach a bit of a drama queen? He's likes rolling his eyes on the bench and looking like he is on the edge of a heart attack from time to time.
Not sure if this has ever carried over to his ice off comments as I don't follow the teams coming and goings. But I expect it has.

I still think Reeven should be behind the Bruins bench any way one thinks about it. His dyed black hair would fit in well with the team colors.
And just as Lucic's nether regions put a spell on all Bruin fans, Reeven would do likewise. Hypnotized. And the Bruin faithful always use the old excuse they are watching #17's hips so they don't get beat one on one, it is embarressing to inform them they are not on the ice playing the game..

There's those good looking bastards! If Roy gets the Habs coaching position in terms of professionalism I see it as the same as Ricky coaching the Bruins.
