This is a cover up. I cannot tell you my source...but this was a cocaine deal gone wrong.
The Buffalo Police is hiding something and this kid looks like an even bigger douche bag now. His cousin will take most of the blame.
If Kane comes out in the next few days in the papers and says something about the Erie County Holding Facility then you know I am telling you the truth.
Kane is going to say something positive about the Sheriffs Dept and everything else and then they will brush this all under the rug.
It was revealed the kid is on Coke, was trying to buy it and the deal went bad. Basically he and his cousin feel they were jipped by a dealer and they assaulted the guy.
I do not understand the cabbie end of it but the arrest is over a drug deal and in the end you will never hear the truth reported. This is a grade A cover up and this is now why I will never root for the hometown hero and he should have his endorsemaents stripped.
Call my BS but I was I live in Buffalo and was so moved the day he was drafted first overall and now to hear this I am just numb.
