BTW... how about the star treatment Malkin gets. He glove punched Couterier twice (on separate plays) and gets nothing. The second was worse than the first.

That was a nice little scrum to end the game. Felt kind of bad for Simmonds taking on Engelland after recently getting stitched up from a puck.
This will be an awesome series though come play-off time.
After Laviolette was tossed, I was hoping Berube would have sent out Brown, Chychrun, Carkner, etc. lol

great stuff.....this just puts a bigger target on Crosby's chest in Philly. If Byslma thinks this will get the Flyers to stop hitting, cross checking Crosby, think again. Good job by Pens giving life to this game at the end and standing up for Crosby, but Vitales hit on Briere started it. The pens may have wanted to start with Schenn but nothing was happeneing until that hit. One good team will be knocked out early, but as a Flyer fan, the Crosby target has just gotten bigger.

Do you think Flyers will go after Sid in the playoffs? I hate to say it, Flyers are totally different right now, their payback will be knocking Pittsburgh out. As I said they are built to beat Pittsburgh in a series. I just hope Pens bring Mac up for next Saturday and goon it up, Flyers really have nobody to fight him and Engelland and Pens have a huge toughness advantage.
Rinaldo will probably get 10 games.

If the Flyers don't go after Sid, then they aren't trying to win. Simply put, to beat the Penguins, you have to take Sid out of the picture. Not saying they need to injure him, but they know he's softer now. If you hit him and try to wear him down, you're just doing yourself a huge favor.

They added Asham and Rinaldo having them, but there are no bench misconducts yet so it can't be done. Adams and Bourdon had a fight so I'm not sure how they only got minors.

Better bring up big mac cause the Flyers are gonna spank the Penguins.The flyers need to play against them like they did today and they should have no problem with them.

Simmonds took a puck to the eye in yesterday's game against Ottawa. He lost the fight to DE, but that damage isn't from the fight.
