Radical Islam, coming to a theater to you!
Red house, = White house in this article.
White House officials held talks with representatives of the Muslim Brotherhood in Washington this week, as the Islamist group threw itself into the fray in Egypt's presidential election.
The meeting on Tuesday with low-level National Security Council staff was part of a series of US efforts to broaden engagement with new and emerging political parties following Egypt's revolution last year, a US official said.
The White House pointed out that Republican Senators Lindsey Graham and John McCain, and other US lawmakers and officials had also met with Brotherhood representatives in Egypt and elsewhere in recent months.
"We believe that it is in the interest of the United States to engage with all parties that are committed to democratic principles, especially nonviolence," said National Security Council spokesman Tommy Vietor.
"In all our conversations with these groups, we emphasize the importance of respect for minority rights, the full inclusion of women, and our regional security concerns."
The Muslim Brotherhood's political arm, the Freedom and Justice Party, said on Saturday it would nominate Khairat al-Shater, a professor of engineering and business tycoon, to contest Egypt's first presidential election since a popular uprising ousted Hosni Mubarak last year.
The Islamists, who control parliament, had repeatedly said they would not put forward a member for the election in order to mitigate fears that they were trying to monopolize power.
The Radicals are all about human rights, just ask any gay, or woman they stoned!
Arab spring, they through out the trash, bringing in 14th century throwbacks, just sayin!

Have you flunked a virginity test lately?
An Egyptian military court on Sunday acquitted an army doctor accused of conducting forced "virginity tests" on female protesters last year, triggering the fury of international human rights groups.
Ahmed Adel was cleared of conducting the test on Samira Ibrahim, who brought the case against him, after the judge found the witness statements to be "contradictory," the official MENA news agency said.
"It's a joke, a theatre," an outraged Samira Ibrahim told AFP after the ruling.
"The fact that the case was in a military court is a disaster," she said.
But Huwayda Mostafa Salem, the lawyer for the defendant, told reporters outside the court: "The case was not strong in the first place. It was brought about due to media pressure." The case had sparked a national outcry and getting it into court was considered a victory for the female protesters who were subjected to the tests and had raised hopes of further trials of those accused of abuse.
Rights watchdogs slammed the verdict as a "travesty" of justice and urged Egypt's military rulers to ensure women never again face "virginity tests."
"The ruling shows how politicized the military justice system is, and the lack of independence there," said Heba Morayef, researcher at Human Rights Watch's North Africa division. "The hope that there will be any accountability for the military will be receding," Morayef told AFP.
Amnesty International said the acquittal "fails women victims of 'virginity tests' " and shows that military courts are "incapable of dealing" with human rights abuse cases. "Once again, the Egyptian military has failed women, particularly those like Samira Ibrahim who have shown tremendous courage in challenging the military establishment in Egypt," said Hassiba Hadj Sahraoui, Amnesty's Deputy Middle East and North Africa Director.
Last year, on March 9, army officers violently cleared Cairo's Tahrir Square and held at least 18 women in detention.
Women said they were beaten, given electric shocks, subjected to strip searches while being photographed by male soldiers, then forced to submit to "virginity tests" and threatened with prostitution charges.
An army general defended the practice at the time saying: "We didn't want them to say we had sexually assaulted or raped them, so we wanted to prove that they weren't virgins in the first place."

Where is CNN and MSNBC? Hillary thinks this is just fine!
When the news finally came, it was through the back door. Last week, US Senator Patrick Leahy posted a public statement expressing “disappointment†with US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s decision to waive new Congressional human rights requirements on US aid to Egypt.
In Senator Leahy’s words:
The Egyptian military should be defending fundamental freedoms and the rule of law … They should end trials of civilians in military courts and fully repeal the Emergency Law, and our policy should not equivocate on these key reforms.
Amnesty International is disappointed by Secretary Clinton’s reported decision as well. Rather than waiving human rights requirements and potentially handing over $1.3 billion in US military aid, we want the US government to review disbursements of military aid to Egypt on a case-by-case basis. The US government needs to make sure that the weapons it funds, transfers, or sells to Egypt’s government will not be used to commit human rights violations.

Actually I don't know if HW was kidding with this thread. I'd like to think so but I'm actually not sure.

I'm still loving the change of NASA mission from one of technology to one of Muslim Outreach.
But I guess it's just crazy to attribute this to anyone's agenda or interests.
It just sort of happened by itself, with nobody really involved in it, and no particular meaning or direction.
This whole thing resembles the AGW campaign / mindmeld more each day. And the sweet little Trayvon campaign.
Don't wanna know the details, truth, or facts. Must hate and destroy whoever disagrees. This is our big chance to shitcan America and Christanity / Capitalism. Any and all methods, means, violence, mayhem to see it through.

Fair enough Heavy. At this point for GOP members to bring these issues up is merely a distraction and wont help them win. This has to be about his record of job creation, record debt levels, and general ineptitude. If this election becomes more about social issues, or the GW/Rove campaign of Gods, guns and gays, its over.

Even I think it is crazy. To the people who believe this, let that sink in for a moment.

I'm just always amazed at the way we're supposed to laugh off any suspicions of Obama despite the daily tidbits he gives us and has given for 4 years plus.......and how the Trayvon zombies are given a wide swath of credibility, to make absolutely no sense whatsoever with zero evidence or logic.
