I love him as Sam Malone..and yeah, to me, thats what Danson will always be to me as well...and thats not a bad thing.

You sonofabitch, John! I loved Danson as Sam Malone. As steeles mentioned, he was also great on Curb. Also, I loved his character on the now defunct Bored to Death.

Danson played Officer Ian Campbell in the movie The Onion Field. Pretty well acted out scene before he met his demise. Subtle little things that led you to think the two officers knew they were in deep shit and would probably not be making it out of there.
One of them did survive Danson's charactor did not.

I never watched an episode of CSI in the last 12 years it's been on. But then my girlfriend flicks it in on and who do I see heading the show?
Been watching it every week since.
Needless to say, I approve of his acting. And, yes, he'll always be Sam Malone.

Danson's role as Arthur Frobisher in the series Damages was fantastic! If you haven't seen the series, I highly recommend it. It's currently in Netflix and just finished the series finale a few months back.

Agreed - I came in here to write this. Currently on the 3rd season. It's available through Amazon Prime for free as well. Highly recommended
