Yeah I always wondered about that, too. I think the odds of getting HIV through "normal" intercourse with an infected person aren't extremely high, the odds would increase dramatically if you did it numerous times with an infected person.
The odds are actually in favor of a child not being passed the virus from an infected mother.

I saw this film in the theater with my girlfriend after not seeing a movie in a theater in almost 10 years (I think Big Top Pee Wee was the previous).
It's a good film, but it depressed me.

If you disect the movie enough, the major argument it is making is that you have to be physically or mentally disabled in some way to be happy in this world. That would make most people depressed.

The kid who played Forrest as a child was Michael Connor Humphries...the kid in the Sixth Sense was Haley Joel Osment.
