Hard to watch over all the boo's, the wailing of women, and the sound of children's tears. I see why they want to get this sort of thing out of the games completely.

The game turned ugly from there as Corey Fulton was pulled into the Surge bench through an open door that led to a bench clearing brawl in the Mississippi bench.
Aaron McGill, Sam Cannata, Bill Baker and LeBlond were all given five minutes for fighting and a 10 minute misconduct for continuing the altercation. Fulton received a ten minute misconduct for leaving the bench. For the Surge, Reid Edmondson and Branden Kosolofsky both received five minutes for fighting and ten minute misconducts.
The biggest blow for the Surge game (sic) when Kosolofsky also received a four minute double minor for spearing Havoc forward Colin Reddin from the bench and a seperate ten minute penalty for throwing several sticks at Havoc players from the bench.

yeah until you get to Junior and they turn back to shit. i miss the late 80s early-mid 90s fun we had with Jr B and Jr D around here. even the minor hockey (midget and juvenile) was great.

That was Fucking AWESOME!! There were some serious action going on, on the bench.
People throw over the boards and fighting all over.

I love Corey Fulton - Late of the Danbury Whalers.
I don't see how anyone can't like this announcer - He stays calm, chuckles, and describes the action without resorting to hyperbole. He sticks up for the players that went into the bench - How is this guy not better than 95% of all hockey announcers, who would have said at least one of the following things that drive me crazy, during an incident like this:
"This is sickening"
"This is disgraceful"
"This sets hockey back 60 years!"
"The is a black eye for the game of hockey"
"There should be lengthy suspensions from this"

Nice brawl. A couple of the blue guys are kind'a douchey. 11 for throwing on 44 when he's engaged with another guy who obviously did something to deserve it and then the other guy who picks up the stick.

I was kind of hoping the AHL would have some of this this year. Maybe not to this extreme but worse than usual. Last lockout I saw 2 goalie fights then benches clear to the dressing room for players fighting and about 5 line brawls.Patrice Bergeron and Brad Boyes even got involved in some good scraps. This year has been disappointing aside from the Providence/Worcester game a few weeks ago
