Not that bad of a fighter IMO.
KO'd McSorley+shitty draw with him.
Never lost for Semenko and Plett(two bouts with him with two draws).
Semenko bout; it was clearly of jumping job by Semenko. Unfair!!
He met Nystrom2x with draw or decisive loss.
He gave hard beating on G.Howatt!
Strong show against Tim Hunter with draw outcome!
He did beat a Chris Nilan in decent scrap.
And he put a good beating on underrated Bob McGill!
He lost to G.Donnelly.
G.Butcher also got him.
Havent seen his all tussles, which is pity.
He met Larry Playfair1x, B.Beck1x, J.McLlhargey1x, Brian Sutter1x, Bridgman1x, S.Smyl once, Gare1x, Secord1x, Schoefield1x.
He had draws with Vukota, Baumgartner, Poeschek and J.Kordic.

Jim Korn wasnt korn.

Definetely Top 80-100 fighter.

Ah Jimmy Crack Korn,

On a midweek Leafs telecast in the early 80's he took on Wally Weir in the Penalty Box at MLG

Korn was also a sucker puncher most notably when the Devils were playing the Leafs in the late 80's.On a Satruday night game,Crowder and Kordic squared off,and a this great fight was being broken up,Korn in a NJD uniform suckered from behind Leafs Brian Curran.

That prompted Harry Neale to say after,"Korn has started more fights this way"

As Korn was on his way to the dressing room after being given ther boot,a fan reached down and grabbed Korn,which prompted Korn to fight back,and the Toornto Police intervened and removed the fan

He had a pretty cheap reputation. Didn't he and Nilan go one night at the Forum where Korn hurt himself during the start of the fight and Nilan let up on him? It has been awhile.

Yeah, didn't Nilan say later that was a mistake. Word was Korn was pretty hated by his peers. Don't remember many of his fights cause he was a cheapshot artist and jumped guys. Nystrom kicked his ass one night, I mean Nystrom hammered him pretty good. Korn haters should watch that fight all day.

I think Garth Butcher of all people had a pretty easy win over Korn too.

One of the top 5 biggest jumpers and backstabbers that I've ever seen play. Funny but he and Perry Anderson together on the Devils, 2 top 5 jumpers on the same team.
