I'd be lying if I said I wasn't going to watch it.

Since I haven't given the NHL much of my money in the past few years (e.g., Center Ice, buying tickets, apparel), not much will change when it comes to that.

I have to admit I haven't missed it, and I think it's a joke that they couldn't have agreed to it sooner. But i've been a season ticket holder for almost 10 years, and sit with the same group of 10-15 people. It's the same as football fans tailgating together for years. The lockout will have no impact on me. I've accepted the fact the players and owners are fucked up, so I won't let them take something away from me that I love.

Attendance will be the same. I read an article that hardly any season ticket holders asked for their money back. Also, any hard core hockey fan is not going to stay away. Even the fair weather fans won't stay away because they probably didn't care enough about hockey to be bothered they weren't playing.

I don't think it's so much that people won't watch hockey. Just not full hockey games. For the last 14 years, I was either a season ticket holder or Center Ice subscriber, or both. I see nothing that has changed for the positive to make me want to spend my money on the current game.

I'll have no problem just watching hilites on youtube or espn, saves time, money and aggravation.

Who freakin cares,every sport over the years goes on strike and then half way through the year they decide to play..you know what do me a favor don't play this season and just start the following season...Cause I won't be watching a 30-40 game season after you pissed me and most hockey fans off and tuned you out....Sorry NHL I made new plans in place of watching Hockey this season..

When there is hockey, I make more money. I won't go out of my way to watch many games, at least until the playoffs.

Also, will the Caps still ice the same pussy roster? Did they add anyone remotely tough?
