While I agree with his assessment of Coverdale, I wonder what his opinion is on Jason Bonham's horribly slavish "Bonham" band. They were so obviously trying to be the new Zep it was embarrassing.

I don't entirely agree with the Coverdale assessment. Coverdale clearly was influenced by Zep on certain Whitesnake tunes, but who wasn't?

Coverdale made a fantastic album with Jimmy Page that was better than anything Jimmy had done since Physical Graffitti. They never toured behind extensively because it sounds like Plant may have sabotaged the relationship by pulling Jimmy back on the road with Page/Plant.

I think there is some professional jealousy on Plant's regard and, tho maybe ridiculous to some, I think Coverdale is the far superior singer.
