Now every Southwest team has a heavy/light-heavy.
Peluso/Stuart/Thorburn in Winnipeg.
Westgarth/Harrison in Carolina.
Parros in Florida.
Erskine in Washington.
Labrie in Tampa.

He is, but he and Labrie, are middleweights at best.
Labrie is closer to a power forward type.

Yeah, Labrie and Erskine don't count. Erskine can't fight regularly anymore and Labrie's a middleweight. Great signing for Peluso though. St Louis had more depth in toughness and Reaves seemed to be given the job from the blueline with powerforwards and middleweights to handle the rest of the fighting up front. Peluso is a legit heavyweight, easily top 10 if not top 5 in the American League and Winnipeg lack toughness in a division that is toughening up a bit after being extremely pathetic in recent years with the additions of Parros and Westgarth to otherwise soft teams who either didn't employ or didn't dress a heavyweight regularly. Hopefully Peluso gets a full time job because he's another instant contender the moment he steps onto NHL ice. Great move by the Jets and a guy Jets fans should be excited to have. Peluso hits like a truck both when he lands a body check and when he punches someone in the face.

Great news if true. I loved this guy in the OHL. He has a devastating right hand.
