Yes, it's a little late in the "season", but today NHL hockey returns. I'm pumped.

Yes, fighting might be down and enforcers are becoming few and far between, but today...I'm pumped.

Yes, this great game is not what it once was, but it's still my game, and today...I'm pumped.

It's true, their might never again be another Bob Probert, but today...I'm pumped.

Yes it's oh so very true, that my team (Toronto), licks all sorts of bag, but today they have as good as shot as anyone to win the Cup, so today....I'm pumped.

So here's to the game I love, and I don't care what anyone here thinks about it.

I'm pumped to watch the triple-header on Hockey Night in Canada today.

Also, really pumped to watch the Edmonton Oilers this year. They are going to be very exciting. If they play a hint of team defense and get solid goaltending from Dubnyk, they could be very dangerous. Those young guns should score a ton of goals. Taylor Hall is my fantasy sleeper. If healthy, I think he's going to explode this year. Justin Schultz on the point is going to pick up a ton of points. He was second in the AHL scoring race!

My early prediction is that Brian Burke will be on the Satellite Hotstove tonight.

I must admit I'm a bit pumped again too. I think the lockout was a good thing because it gave enough time for my frustration with last years Leafs team to subside a bit. I miss hockey, but I miss the game I love and that's not what's likely to return today or anytime soon for that matter, however there's been a big enough break that I can let go of my previous frustrations and go in with an open mind today and try to enjoy a game or two. No doubt I'll be out by Feburary again if things pick up where they left off last year, but for now, I too must admit, I'm a little pumped.

Center ice preivew is on and Kings-Hawks is on NBC but the guide says Pittsburgh vs. Philly, on the Center ice HD feed saying Pittsburgh vs. Philly, same in Standard and it's Hawks vs. Kings, on the Kings vs. Hawks channel in HD and SD, So I got Kings vs. Hawks on 5 channels, Flyers and Pens, nowhere, however on the SD channel it has the Pens game starting in a half hour and says it's off air right now, but is actually showing the Hawks vs. Kings game. I dunno what the fuck is going on but I blame Johnz.
