"Get your finger off of me!" LOL...Love Earl. Always as a baseball fan love him- what a great piece of footage that is. I remember taping that off a baseball tape that showed just that footage that was posted- back in '94 or so. He was a smart guy, and alot of this was for show, obviously. I love the pre game show where he went off.

Died on the cruise that my aunt was on. He was a good friend of the family. My aunt and her sister were in his box with him when his statue was put into the garden. My aunt is absolutely devastated.

The Orioles were the Yankees main rivals in the late 60's and early '70s. You always had to at least respect the Orioles teams managed by Earl. The hatred was saved for the Red Sox.

RIP to Earl. A master of many great one-liners in sports history. He was once asked to join a prayer service and "walk with the Lord". He replied, "I'd rather walk with the fuckin' bases loaded". LOL
