Godmotherfuckingdammit. This better effect the playing time of Handzus, Galiardi, or Sheppard. But we all know this means McLaren will be promptly sent down. Handzus is not an NHL caliber player anymore, the Sharks should have bought his ass out.

Handzus is invisible most nights, but then boom, he'll show up and win a game for his team then go on a roll, and once again vanish for a block of games. Used to kill me when he was with the Kings, because there were times he looked painted on the ice.

Gomez…Is this his last shot? Perhaps he'll bounce back. Good chance with that lineup. US player so I'll support him, but not too much, because he's now in the Pacific and up against my club.

The Sharks are in the playoffs every year, so he understands how to keep his team competitive over long stretches. His strategy is to not sign bad long term contracts that might prohibit the future of the organization, and it's kept them in the hunt for his entire tenure. Obviously it hasn't rendered the ultimate goal, but they are at the dance each year, so I think he's been pretty successful.
