Ben Eager vs Zach Kassian:
Fight happens immediately off a face-off after the Oilers scored to tie the game!! Kassian starts off with two huge lefts that land flush and a third that missed and it looks like Eager is going down. The Third left that missed and Eager ducking put Kassian off balance and Eager takes advantage and lands two hard rights to the back of Kassians head. They land on the ice with Eager behind Kassian and Eager is split open above the eye. Tough fight to call!

Eager left for repairs on what looked like a pretty good gash. Those lefts to Eager's face were the best punches. Win Kassian.

Kassian really blasted him with those first couple of lefts. Eager landed a decent one in return but it was Kassian's miss on his third left as Boobs pointed out that created his balance issues. Eager pushes him to the ice with a couple of rabbit punches but they didn't look really do anything more than push Kassian down and create an escape route for Eager. Had Kassian not lost his balance, Ben probably bails out, instead he tries to safe face with a couple of late ones that do nothing to the back of the head. Kassian did the damage and scored the punches that mattered so if there's a decision to be awarded in this case it belongs to Kassian. Eager finished the fight in the dominant position but did nothing with it. Looked like he was trying to apply a rear naked choke or something there at the end to make sure Kassian couldn't roll over on top of him. Win Kassian.

Orbital, you think? Kassian definitely popped him, but I didn't think it was that hard. Sometimes it just goes that way though.

Agreed. Eager was way overdue for a nice shot.

FYI, Eager is now listed as out indefinitely with a concussion.
And Kassian is turning heads in Vancouver with his skills (quite literally single-handedly won the game for the Canucks against Calgary yesterday).
