I think about being the Admin here, or for any mod, and you try to read as much as you can of the site to deal with issues as much as enjoyment. Enjoyment clearly first (not trying to kid anyone this is a job or anything).

If you see a thread with a response to it that you havent read yet, which poster will you almost always read whatever they write?

This is a single member response, you can give a couple of HMs if you want, but you can only pick one as your true response.

For me, the answer is Hike. If he posts in a thread, I am going to read his response. Its always reasoned, even if I dont agree with it (which I usually do), but I want to hear what he has to say.

For honorable mentions, I will name the following:

Posux- I know some of you dont like the guy, but I have known him for a while now. Regardless of personal opinion, a Posux post usually means someone gets called out. Always entertaining. And there are times I dont agree with what Posux says. That is especially true when it comes to the Yankees, OPS (his baseball bible stat), and of course Sean Avery. Nevertheless, agree or disagree, Posux' posts are worth reading. Always. Maybe that's a new blog for FC, the "posux says" section. Trav will hate it, and half of you will be offended, but I guarantee it would be entertaining as hell.

Rangfan- not the hockey fight expert on a hockey fight site but one of our most educated, intelligent, and successful posters. He and I are rarely in agreement on political topics, but whether you agree with him or not, the guy is sharp as hell and anything he says is worth reading.

Lastly, Trav. True he is the BOSS. So I kind of have to read what he writing, but in general, because he is the boss and he doesnt post all that often, I read every post he makes on the board. Plus, he is fair and unconfrontational, and of course bright, anything he posts outside of the mod forum is worthy of a look.

Excellent thread you have here Mike.

For me it depends on the category. Generally speaking in the Movie and Television forums it is MIKE and POSUX as they are quite knowledgeable about upcoming movies and give the best reviews.

In the Off Topic forum, it has to be CASHMAN, he always seems to find something worth looking at.

In the hockey fight thread it would have to be DRUNK247, he provides a great fight analysis and his insight is second to none.

Mike gets mention by me.
Pagey, Peatycap, Huard28 and... there is so many guys who are quality posters.
Also humour is in an important role.

I'm always interested in what Kramer or PR have to say. Also ILB, Clutch, DoubleJ, glockman, and ed21. Is that too many? There are too many quality posters on here to name only one "must read."

I'd be better off listing the very short list of people who I "don't read".

But here are a few I do click on asap when they post something new. Also not a fan of eliminating anyone, so again, unless you're on my very short list, I wouldn't worry about who I've named here. I think alot of it also depends on the forum as well.

Other than that, I read just about everything when I can.

For fights, I always read i love boobs' posts, and they should be mandatory reading, period. Drunk 24/7 is a close second.

As for the miscellaneous stuff, it depends on the topic, but most of the vets' posts are worth reading.

This is a very good topic, but I agree it is forum specific. Its also tough because there are several members who's posts I always read.

So, I, like everyone else so far, will break Mike's single member response rule.

For fights its I Like Boobs (which is also the best name on here), Drunk 24-7 (the second best name), Cashmanrulz and the Hammer.

I read a lot of baseball threads, in there its Krammer, Clutch, Spike, irish66, Brawls and Steeles.

For Entertainment, specifically Movies and Television (I don't read much of the other topics there) its Posux and Mike. Jax gets an HM just for his Sprout hottie host thread.

For the Miscellaneous Forum, I agree with Pagey that I will always read posts by any of the "regular" guys. But I make a point of reading Kanrok, Hike, Mike, Rangfan, baldridge, Johnny U, Cotton, Clutch, glockman and Tim.

I'm going to name 3 but there are many great posters here, but I'm going to keep it to 3 so this doesn't blend into the End of the Year awards (many of you were named there).

Drunk 24-7 - Whether he is forming an argument or having fun goofing on someone, it is a must read. I must admit Drunk is an even better song writer than me. Knowledgible and funny.

Johnz - That's right! Johnz! Anytime I see Johnz's name on a recent post I have to read to see how he somehow linked it back to Chicago or whatever delusional Chicago Bias he has going that week.

Juha - Its like a carwreck. I can't turn away as I drive by. I have to read to see what unintentionally funny quote may be in there.

No one said Must read is always the best posters anyway.
