Should be something in the Ottawa - Tampa Bay game, they have a general disdain for each other.

Matt Carkner vs Shawn Thornton Round5

Their series is tied 2 wins and 2 draws. Carkner needs to get something going here, he's done nothing for quite some time now, going against the reigning Fighter of the Year would be a great start.

John Scott vs Kevin Westgarth Round3

Here's a guy Scott managed to find, winning one and drawing one with Kevin last season. This should happen, unless Scott is saving himself for Orr in 3-4 days time.

Two big HW fights, all 4 could find themselves in the Top10 this year! Let's hope it goes down!
#1 - Brian McGrattan (Champ)
#2 - Jay Rosehill
#3 - Luke Gazdic

Fighter of the Year - McGrattan
Rookie of the Year - Gazdic
Fight of the Year - Lucic vs Rechlicz

Thornton will definitely be going with someone tonight! He usually fights Carkner/Boulton 2x a year & NYI have both guys... So he can take his pick. Thornton will probably be kinda pissed tonight after getting benched for his goal leading giveaway the other night against The NYR. Maybe Lucic tears Baby Chara aka Finley apart for to many cross checks to the back near the net? I can see that happening.

Do the Islanders dress boulton, finley, martin and Carkner? If so, could be an interesting game in Boston tonight!

Lucic should beat up Finley as a tune up for Scott. He's about the same the size but he has no balance and with Lucic's strength he shoud be able to drag him off balance and rag doll him a bit like guys used to do to McKenna. Obviously Finley's a big dude and you don't want to walk into one form him but he's not nearly as good a fighter, nor as strong on his skaes as John Scott is, but he's about the same demensions so if Looch wants a bit of a tune up for Scott, Finley would make a good sparring partner, although I guess he could just wrestle with Chara in practice to try and get a feel for how to work the clinch to get inside and avoid being locked out and whatnot if he has the intention of taking on Scott. Thornton should go with either Boulton or Carkner. Thornton and Carkner and Boulton and McQuaid would be the best case scenario and Looch vs. Finley would be the bonus plan. The odds of a Carkner vs. Looch rematch are probably pretty slim.

I think McQuaid kinda steers clear of the heavies & stays more with the Matt Martins of the League middle weights & Scrapper type guys.

Isles vs Boston is the coolest game as i try to watch from NHLstream but not sure can i watch it bec i needs though one thing for my computer to get it watch.
Also Vancouver vs Anaheim is dream game for me bec i am Canucks fan and i have big love for Mighty Ducks too bec Selanne and Koivu are playing for the team.

Islanders will dress: Carkner, Martin and Finley. I didn't realize this but Finley is 6'8" 240. I watched a little of the Islanders vs. Leafs game last night. It looked like Carkner was paired with Streit as a first D pair. Not sure how much Carkner will fight this year.
I see Blue! . . . He looks glorious!

He was yammering pretty good with Orr during a minor scuffle in front of the net, last night - not sure if Orr said, i'm 2 in 2, or Carkner was saying, i'm a top Dman.

Martin-Mcquaid, Carkner- Lucic/Thornton, staubitz v weise, westgarth v scott. You would think Jannsen and Barch would be itching to go, but probably don't find dancer partners

I don't think Weise will try Staubitz... Maybe someone like Belesky is more up his alley.
