The guy is just amazing. Lots of fights already, with this pace he can rack up 40 FMs. Also, he is listed like 185 pounds and takes on much bigger guys and doing well. His fights are also exciting and his resume is outstanding (dropping guys like Boulerice in his first PS games).
I really hope he makes the NHL one day, characters like him are sorely missed in the NHL. For some reason he reminds me of Rypien, although he fights bigger guys.

+1...
& that`s a legitimate 185lbs...decieving being that he appears a bit Domi/Jonathan esque on the ice but surprisingly lean in street clothes...& determined to bang with the big boys till the bitter end.

I have only seen his fights - how is the rest of his game? Any chance of a call up?

Short but on the spot, Gallant is fucking awesome. Guys like him and Bobby Robins make hockey still worth watching.

Good kid from PEI! His old man was tougher than tough back in the old PEI Senior League, and his brothers are pretty solid as well. His boxing and conditioning coach is Joe Borden, former Canadian boxing champion in different weight classes, and Joe is a great guy who has worked with many fine PEI tough guys like Cody Doucette, Adam McQuaid and a host of MMA and Boxing guys. Joe actually still works with the Summerside Western Capitals MHL team and does one hell of a job! He's a guy I've never heard a bad word said about, and has donated thousands of hours of his time helping and teaching kids how to defend themselves.
