I can't stand these two. They are the two biggest spot pickers in the entire league. They are two big guys who fight like they are middleweights. Sorry just had to vent.

6'1 200 and 6'2 210, not exactly giants. That would be considered "middleweights" by most.

What makes you think they're spot pickers?

Crombeen has fought Martin and Neil so far this year. That's spot-picking? And Clarkson fought Simmonds.

You would cum in your pants if Clarkson signs with the Rangers this summer.

Interviewer- How does it feel to cover Gomez?

It sure sucks to have 30 goal scorers who play behind enforcers pick their spots.

when does Clarkson or Crombeen fight guys like Parros or Colton Orr? How about the chances of fighting Bordleau? Not happening. that is spot picking.

No....thats called fighting out of your weight class.

And before you say what about guys like Bonvie, VandenBussche and Stock, they had a different make-up and stature than these middleweights.

I've always thought Clarkson should go out of his class once in a while. He's a good fighter, and I like him a lot, but he should take on someone superior every now and then.

Crombeen just isn't a very good fighter.

Clarkson has stepped out of his comfort zone before, but it was back when he was cutting his teeth trying to make the Devils.

Good call. I should have checked his card, I did not remember those fights off the top of my head. I guess I'd like to see him maintain it, but the Devils have carried some designated guys the last couple of years, while he has developed more of a scoring touch.

I'm defending him you dolt.

Clarkson can pick his spots because he played behind true heavyweight enforcers. He can focus on playing the game and scoring goals, and fighting when he chooses to.

Also, keep in mind, he was a 30 goal scorer last year. That goes a long way toward how much fighting he'll do.

If last year wasn't a fluke, I'd look for him to be more of a Guerin/Iginla type of player.

I don't see him like I see those guys. Guerin and Iginla had/have great puck handling skills and great shot releases. Clarkson is very good around the net, but not nearly as dynamic with the puck on his stick as those guys.

I like Clarkson & would LOVE him on the Bruins! I also like Crombeen but has he always been such a defensive fighter? I thought a few years ago he was more aggressive when he fought? Now he throws limited punches with no mustard behind them & looks scared to get hit. Is there a reason for this that I might not be aware of?
