I am liking it also. Although I am worried that too many people will be in the "cult" and it will end up being the whole world vs Kevin Bacon.
BTW, I woulda done the ex-wife too.

She is smoking. You know one of the cops/FBI agents is going to be in the cult. My guess is the young guy, the super fan of Kevin Bacon.

agreed about the FBI guy being in. Its too obvious that the lady FBI agent is in. Those Poe masks are freaky!

Watched the pilot. Enjoyed it.
The doctor from the pilot has now been taken in "taken," "lost" and now the following. Talk about being typecast.

What happened to the oriental chick in the second show?
I like this a lot. Intense is the right word.
I'm not a huge Kevin Bacon fan (can't respect a guy who shows his dick on screen) but appreciate him as an actor in these 2 episodes

damn Nick. That knocks out about every European actor from the mix!! The no dick brigade.
I am not sure on this show yet. I think I like it, I am entertained, but not sure how they keep this up into a long term story.
If the whole show remains wrapped up into this one guy and his cult and Edgar Allan Poe, its going to get old and not work for multiple seasons.
Even though it might not be original, they would be better going towards the Hannibal Lector angle and make this guy sort of an advisor to Kevin Bacon's character to solve other violent crime issues for the long term.

Mike I'm sure they will. Just like Sopranos if you keep open ended storylines the show will last then you can develop the characters. That will be the protocol.
I also think there's a master plan in this series. I think the serial killer in jail will do some different stuff/role.

You're such a goombah Nick. Don't you know that rugs are oriental and people are asian?
Anyway she can stay away, she has a face made for radio. I'm guessing she is in the cult though.

Agree with your assessment Mike. Even if the main antagonist dies, there are going to be stragglers out there who continue his teachings.
So is the new FBI lady in on it? What was with her giving the book the the professor?

^I think that would be too obvious. He mentioned something about looking to read before going to sleep when he was talking to Kevin Bacon. Did he give them some information in exchange for reading privileges?
I still think the young FBI guy will end up being part of the cult.

I don't know. If this was HBO I would say its too obvious. But for a network show, who knows. The writing is usually more obvious and disappointing.

Episode last night tailed off a little. The whole gay thing is interesting. Love how the oriental flirt girl gives in with a stranger than goes "no sex tonight right/ok"....that sort of backfired huh?!!!!

I usually dislike boyish haircuts on girls, but I dig it on that little redhead.
I liked last night's episode, which I thought reinforced my theory that the young FBI guy is part of the cult. I think while Bacon was out in the yard with the chick and her husband, young FBI guy let the black dude bleed out.

I like it although I was bummed out because the black dude who got killed is one of my fav actors. I think his character getting killed had something to do with him having a major part in the storyline of Sons Of Anarchy next season as he as Pope's right hand man and now that Pope got killed he's the head of the black bad guy group on that show. He was also really good in Dexter the last few seasons as well.
Speaking of Sons Of Anarchy, anyone else think those Poe masks look just like Kim Coates/Tig on Sons?
My only real complaint is that I wish the show was on FX or Showtime so they could go a little bit further like Dexter or Sons can do. Any show like this to me is almost doomed on network tv due to censors.
