it was rare JUHA. I spoke to Bomber and he said he let Brown beat him that game. He had bad diarrhea and Brown was being all feisty.

I dont think that was payback for Tocchet. 91-92 was the season Tocchet got moved to the Pens.
More the point, earlier that game Bomber really took it to a non-fighter, Jones, and I am sure that is why Brown went after Bomber.

exactly right about the Brad Jones incident. Next Shift flyers had last change and Brown was ready off the face off.

I thought it was when McKay who proved that a tall left hander could no longer "get by" in a league with guys who were actually tough? Nowadays its all about being a tall southpaw!!
So much knowledge going through this thread my head hurts. both heads.

Bomber was fucking tough fighter.
No doubt.
Of course he got shitkicked by Brown bec Brown was excellent, dominant as all guys got shitkicked by him as he took Nilans and Millers numbers.
Gave good beating on Grimson too.
Gave few hard beatings on Domi.
But he had troubles with Rayzor but it was bec he getting old though, holding a draw against him either(no any loss to Ray).
Bridgman is wrong on his call on Baumgartner.
Dude had some impressive tilts with Domi, Hunter, McSorley and Probert.
I do think he got McSorleys numbers, not sure.
Draw and narrow win over him.
Two guys with Mullet but with difference, Bomber is beautier.
