Nice comeback one sided win for Parros. That would have been bad had he lost that one.

Good on Grossman for taking that fight, starting out strong but then just got overpowered and ate some nice punches.

Did that punch buckle Parros or was it a balance issue? Either way a win for Parros.

shelley is hurt, thats fine. But you have sestito who at the least is a hitter who will back down from no one sitting. Grossman maybe the best defenseman. Nice job Lavvy!!! Lets see Pierre Mcguire kiss your ass now.

Well, nobody can call Grossman a spot picker.
Parros x 2
McCormick
Andre Deveaux
Mark Mancari

It looked like Grossman's right leg got the back Parros' left leg causing a buckle. Hard to tell but it appeared so.

Parros makes up two thirds of Grossman's NHL fight card. Parros gave it to him as a Duck when Grossman was with Dallas a couple of years back after Grossman ran Perry. Grossman had him in a wee bit of trouble there for a second at the start but once Parros got back up he put it on him pretty good and busted him up a little bit for the dominant comeback win. Props to Grossman for stepping up and props to Parros for putting him down as he should. Win Parros.

Great point.
The Flyers are fucking pathetic in the fighting department. Man, I envy you Leafs fans now. But happy for you knowing you had to endure the Ron Wilson era.
It´s pathetic that your best defenseman, a virtual non-fighter from Sweden, has to step up and fight the other team´s heavy. We, as many teams, missed the boat on Matt Kassian. Perfect guy to at least insert vs tough teams like the Leafs and teams dressing a heavyweight.
Win Parros as he should, but props to Grossmann

I get that Flyers fans get upset about the lack of heavyweights the Flyers use, but can we really be that upset when they are 3rd in the NHL in fighting majors? This isn't the Red Wings for the last decade plus. Hell, the Oilers have 2 fights all season so far.

All good that the Flyers skill players drop the gloves from time to time. But they have to do all the fighting. They need a designated fighter to take on Parros, Orr, Scott etc. Can´t have Simmonds, one of your leading scorers to take on tough guys all the time. Rinaldo only fight middle- to light heavyweights if that. The Flyers have no answer vs other teams designated tough guys, and sooner or later I fear a guy like Simmonds might hurt himself in a fight. We are so crowded at forward even with the injuries, that a guy like Sestito, who can skate, hit and willingness to fight, can´t even find a roster spot. Why? Because Lavy have to dress over-the-hill useless bums like Knuble and Fedotenko.
I like the toughness of our skill players, but we desperately need a real tough guy in the line up to match guys like Orr, McLaren, Scott, Thornton etc.

good point Kordic, many teams are in the same boat. I think every fight fan here wishes the Leafs were their team this year.
