J.Scott BUF vs F.McLaren TOR
Early in 3rd, dull game, no life from BUF so Scott goes up to Leafs bench and challenges McLaren. McLaren gets off to good start and lands a few, Scott comes back and McLaren comes back too. Scott takes off his own helmet. I think McLaren knicked/cut him early, Scott appears tired after they are locked out from punching and calls it a fight. MCLAREN gets the W at first glance, kid is really looking good this year from lots of activity.

McLaren vs. Scott
Scott issues the challenge by the Leafs bench and away they go. McLaren starts off really well, mixing the left jab with the over hand right, tagging Scott a few times and pushing him to the Leafs bench. They eventually move off the boards and McLaren continues the left/right combos, with Scott mixing in a few punches here and there. I didn't see how the fight ended (was dealing with a screaming 2 year old), but as I turned back McLaren was on the ice with Scott trying to pump up the Sabre bench. Scott was cut above the right eye on his way to the box. Will wait to make a call until I see how it ended, but from what I did see McLaren definitely got the better of it.

Gerbe dropped gloves and went after Phanuef who was surprised, dropped his behind net by linesmen already in to break it up. Too bad. LOL Cream puff Stafford looked on was right there and did not odder to help Gerbe. Unreal.

Scott was cut over the left eye. he took a few early and a few jersey jabs late. Playing back frame by frame the last punch by Scott connected which put McLaren down to his knees but he was probably tired from the punches he threw at that point of the fight. Edge McLaren on points

Scott doesn't look very dangerous without a huge reach advantage. He also gasses really quickly. WIN McLaren.
I still can't believe San Jose gave him away for nothing. Fuck you, Sharks.

Edge McLaren. Dont like how Scott kind of hangs back looking for the home run KO punch. It's boring and it clearly didnt work well in this fight. Stamina issue's too.

You could see Frazer really trying to work the body, too. I'm sure Colt gave him a word or two of advice. That should be standard when fighting Scott from here on out, especially because his stamina sucks.

Win McLaren due to the early shots when he looked to cut Scott. Scott did make a nice comeback but not enough.

Real good scrap, McLaren took the fight to Scott and definitely won. Kept Scott off balance most of the fight and landed some nice shots. Scott looked awkward here, like he was afraid to get hit. He called in the stripes to end this one. McLaren has been very impressive this year, sure hope the Leafs keep he and Orr in the lineup, hell of a 1-2 punch.
