Can't believe there's not a thread for this show.

Holy shit, it's phenomenal.

William H. Macy is great as always, what a hateable / pitiable character. But what a great cast of unknowns by & large. Joan Cusack and Bill Murray's brother pop up.

Nice writing and story line. It just rolls along from one thing to another, never slows down.

Some fine girls also.

Binge watched all seasons.

It is literally filmed in my old neighborhood.

The church that you see occasionally is the one I grew up in.

It used to be called St. Casimir, but once us polcaks moved out the name was changed.

Agreed, great show. When they started goofing on the hipsters at the bar was my favorite goof so far.

William Macy is superb in this show.

I started by watching the last couple seasons.

Then I went back to the first few shows, 1st season.

Amazing how little Carl and Debbie are then. That girl who plays Debbie is a great little actor at like 10 years old.

Carl going to jail to build his street cred is hilarious.

I like Chuckie though. He's the kind of guy who ends up being a millionaire through sheer weirdness.

This has always been on my much watch list. Now I can't wait to get ready to binge through the seasons. Some pretty good reviews here.

That is true.

It is definitely a binge watchers dream.

It is a binge watchers dream. I just watched all 7 seasons in like 2 months. Great stuff.

There's no spoilers in this, because I describe the show as "going along for the ride in the lives of the family". You can watch any episode in any order and get it.

2 points I'll make. I teared up when Debbie and Carl, as kids in the earlier seasons in this instance. On Turkey day, they finally afford and cook a dinner, then the mom comes home and od's/goes to the hospital, Lip has a kid that's not his, etc. When the episode ends, Fionas in bed, Carl and Deb come in and just cry. Water works happened for me then.

Then the finale, when Fiona punches her mother in the casket-I related to that as I had a bad relationship with my mom.

Echoing the above statments, it's a great acting show with not much dead moments. Enjoy the ride. I'll watch season 8 in the fall when it comes on Netflix.
