Being 44 I have heard that taking Omega 3 supplements was a good idea for the heart and other things but I work in a hospital and spoke to one of doctors about this and he said he would not take the pills instead if I wanted to get the benefits of the O3's he said the best way to do that is to have it naturally. so I stopped taking the pills and for the past month and a half I have been eating wild caught salmon 2-3 times per week as they are a great source of Omega 3s. Any other guys out there do the same or recommend anything better? Thanks

Go with the salmon. It is the best route over the pills. If looking for more heart health check into CoQ10. My neurologist said 1-300 my a day.

Check out this podcast: https://overcast.fm/+L0d3z-9CU

It deals with diet and alzheimer’s, among other things. Very interesting. Touches on Omega-3s.

My pleasure.

It is very informative.

The wife of an ex-partner developed early onset Alzheimer’s.

Early 50’s. Mom of 5.

Very sad.

Carlson brand Omega 3's, good stuff, take it like candy.

Crank up the Vitamin C, Garlic, Lysine and Taurine, heart health.
Make a gallon of Green Tea, and cut a few lemons and squeeze them in.

TURN OFF simple carbs, sugar and all that crap.

I take Carlson's as well. Good stuff and cheaper than Nordic Naturals.

Just keep an eye on your LDL while taking fish oil. My LDL shot way up even though triglycerides lowered...

oh I also added Boston Mackeral into the mix when I see them at the store, they are packed with O3's as well. They are kinda oily, reminded me of blue fish. But they aren't bad at all.
